General Session Board Meeting

March 4, 2003

Location: Boise Basin Seniors Center, Idaho City, Id

Board Members Present: Brent Adamson, Ray Eklund, Theresa Mann,

Elizabeth Martin, Bruce Reichert

1) Boise County Wildfire Interagency Group: Duquette Pines property owners had the opportunity to attend a presentation by Jeff Bass related to wildfire and the activities of the Interagency Group. An article by Bruce Reichert regarding this presentation was printed in the March 2003 newsletter and is available on the Duquette web site.

2) Minutes: The minutes of the Feb. 4, 2003 meeting were approved. (Motion to approve by Elizabeth, seconded by Bruce.)

3) Financials: Theresa presented the financial information provided by Carolyn. The checking account balance was $8,711.48 and the reserve account $43,202.71 as of Feb. 27, 2003. Theresa indicated that payroll is being issued this week. The financial report was approved. (Motion made by Elizabeth, seconded by Bruce.)

4) Managers Report:

· Matt Williston reported on repairs to the gate. He indicated that a metal portion of the gate had been damaged in one of the recent gate and will need to be welded. He said that there had also been a short in the electrical system causing the gate to malfunction, which has been repaired.

· Loyal reported that (two) meter boxes on the wells would need to be replaced.

5) WLC

· WLC has indicated they are working on plans for the new gate and will provide information/plans as available.

· Loyal stated that Brad Stone of WLC had indicated they have located a tank to be used as the ‘fire protection’ storage tank that was required of WLC by the County Commissioners. Brad indicated to Loyal that WLC would be willing to assist Duquette Pines with placement of a new tank if the Board determines it necessary to replace the existing/original water tank.
