1)      Minutes/Financial: The Board unanimously approved the minutes of the July 12, 2005 meeting. Marcy Rowe reported a money market (reserve) account balance of $51,677.26 and checking account balance of $23,762.40.

2)      2005 Board Member Election results: Bruce Reichert and Carol Kirkland retained their Board seats. Elizabeth Nelson was elected alternate Board member.

3)      Managers report:

  • Jim reports that he continues to apply spray in an attempt to eradicate knapweed.
  • Loyal and Jim report that the well pumps have been running more frequently than usual. Water conservation was stressed. Following discussion, the Board unanimously agreed to proceed with deepening a third well, as had been planned when two other wells were deepened a few years ago. Brent will contact the well drilling company to schedule.

4)      Building Plans:

  • Amy Davis provided the Board with plans for a carport. Following review, the Board determined additional information was needed to confirm location of the building in compliance with the CCRs. Following the meeting, Brent contacted Amy Davis. As the plans submitted will not meet the CCR required distances from property lines, Ms. Davis will submit new plans.

5)      New Business:

·        Bruce will obtain information regarding the wildfire grant that Duquette Pines has received to assist homeowners in dealing with the threats of wildfire. The grant will be administered through the county. Additional information is available on the Duqutte Pines website.

·        Water Agreement: The original Duquette Pines Water Agreement, identifying accepted usage of water delivered by the DP water system, will be reviewed by DPHOA legal counsel for corrections/changes.
