General Session Board Meeting

February 7, 2006

Board Members Present: Brent Adamson, Bruce Reichert, Loyal Willis, Theresa Mann

Absent: Elizabeth Nelson

Present: Jim White, Manager

Marcy Rowe, Bookkeeper

1) Minutes/Financial: The Board unanimously approved the minutes of the January 3, 2006 meeting. Marcy Rowe reported a checking account balance of $9,969.83 to pay January payroll and bills. The money market (reserve) account balance is $59,441.64.

2) Manager Jim White reported:

• Gardner’s had some equipment break down in January during snow removal, causing some delays. They completed the plowing/snow removal as soon as the equipment was repaired. Jim maintains contact with Gardner’s to direct the necessary snow removal and road maintenance.
• The Board requested Jim advise Gardner’s to ‘push back’ snow berms as they are created on intersecting roads to eliminate a subdivision road being inaccessible due to a berm.
• As done previously, the Board will meet with the Gardner Co. prior to the new contract period to review the contract.
• Gate: Both gates have been left open during the heavy snow season as there are some maintenance issues that can’t be resolved until the ice/snow is gone from the road bed over the outgoing gates buried ‘loop’. Jim will obtain a cost estimate to put a heater in one of the gate mechanism boxes.

3) Newsletter: The Board reviewed the newsletter draft that Marcy Rowe had prepared. The newsletter will be mailed in mid-February. The next (spring) newsletter will include additional information regarding implementation of the grant monies and information regarding fire protection.
