Duquette Pines Homeowners Association Board Meeting
Jeffes’ Residence

Minutes - approved from the October meeting as
presented.
Financials –
- Michelle signed up for auto withdrawal
with Idaho Power on our accounts.
- Moved and seconded to check into putting
Qwest on automatic withdrawal.
- The Board signed checks. The check to Gary Secor was signed, but
Brent will deliver it in exchange for an itemized invoice of work
done.
- A bill was sent to Boise Supply for
breaking the gate, for $75.00.
- Michelle sent a follow-up letter to Jim
Barrett as we have not received an October payment for past due account.
- Auto payments are being received from
Randy Smith.
Manager’s Report -
- Speed bumps were removed.
- October 13 cameras were installed at the
gate.
- The gate was broken by a tailgater –
homeowner was billed. Outgoing gate
was broken and repaired.
- Branches were trimmed. . . slash needs to
be picked up. . . would like help next Saturday, November 13.
- October 30th the slash pile
was burned. Jon requests that
homeowners not bring bark to be burned.
Please take it to the Idaho City dump or burn it on their own
property.
- Roads need to be graded, but it’s been difficult
to coordinate with Gardners as they are out of town during the week. Jon will notify them when it needs to be
done, based on weather conditions, and advise Gardners that if they are
unable to complete the work, we will hire another contractor.
- It appears that Duquette Pines owns the
fire truck. . . Brent will check with Theresa Mann for the historic
records and the Board will decide how to proceed.
- The Board will gather data to decide the
best building material, location and style for a storage shed for the subdivision
sand.
Building Plans –
- Homeowner Klug – Plans were submitted for
a car port to be built on an existing concrete pad, 27 feet from the
property line. The construction
will adhere to CCRs, and will be finished to match the house. Moved and seconded to approve the plans,
with a variance to allow the distance from property line. Motion carried. Wendy will send the letter to the
homeowner.
- Homeowner Green has placed a shed within
5 feet of the property line. A
letter will be sent to request they adhere to the setback
requirements. Wendy and Art will
draft a letter.
New Business –
- Alan Stubblefield spoke of the
circumstances for the debris accumulation on his properties. The Board asked for a letter from Mr.
Stubblefield regarding payment arrangements to Duquette Pines, and to keep
the Board apprised of the circumstances.
Mr. Stubblefield agreed to give the Board a letter of update before
the end of November. In the Spring,
the Board will do a review of the lots regarding debris.
Old Business –
- Road contract revisions were
reviewed. Moved and seconded to
approve contract as revised, with clarification needed on Item #12, Off-Road
Diesel Surcharge. Motion
carried. Art will email revisions
back to Brent for follow-up with Gardners.
- Our attorney sent a letter to Mr.
McKweon for the vinyl fence. We
have not received a response from the homeowner.
Next Board meeting will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at Wendy
and George Jeffes’ cabin, 248 Meadow, 8:30 a.m.
