Duquette Pines Homeowners Association Board Meeting

Jeffes’ Residence 8:30 a.m.

April 14, 2012

Attendees: Brent Adamson, Art Burget, Dee Woodstrom, Danny Gurwell, Wendy Jeffes, Jon Long, Michelle Savoie Garcia

Minutes -

· March minutes were approved as presented.

Financials –

· Michelle presented the month’s financials and one check to be signed.

· She presented financials, which were broken down by water and subdivision maintenance expenses/income.

Manager’s Report –

· Jon ran the emergency generator.

· He cleaned out the catch basins to facilitate runoff. Gardners was called to assist with this effort.

· He had potholes graded on Meadow Drive.

· He worked on ice removal from culverts.

· Had Gardners do (temporary) repair on Bullfrog which had washed out. This is a problem area due to 2 springs that run through this area. Jon had Gardners bid to do repairs to this section involving culvert installation, etc.

· Other drainage problems were discussed at Bullpine/Meadow, and Bullpine/Willis Way.

· There was also discussion about grading, and doing road buildup and maintenance.

· Jon will get bids for various road work, including culverts.

New Business –

· Brent received a letter from the County regarding spraying for noxious weeds. The County received grant money and will do the spraying of the common areas at no cost to the subdivision. Dates have not been determined.

· Brent took a second quarter water reading, but has not gotten the results back. He gave an update on the wells/water.

· Annual meeting date was tentatively set for Friday, June 1, 2012, 7:00 p.m., pending confirmation of reservation at the Senior Center or Community Center.

· There will be two open board positions. Nominations will be taken at the annual meeting.

· The board discussed items to go in the newsletter, which will be mailed with the upcoming quarterly billing.

The next Board meeting will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2012, 8:30 a.m. at the Jeffes’ cabin.
