Duquette Pines Homeowners Association Board Meeting

Jeffes’ Residence 8:30 a.m.

May 5, 2012

Attendees:  Brent Adamson, Art Burget, Dee Woodstrom, Wendy Jeffes, Jon Long, Homeowner Clint Watson

Minutes  -

· April minutes were approved as presented. 

Financials –

· Michelle was unable to attend the meeting, but emailed the month’s financials to the Board before the meeting.    

· The Board discussed the budget which will be presented at the annual meeting.  Art will meet with Michelle to discuss final numbers and email the Board to finalize the numbers before the Annual meeting.

Manager’s Report –

· Jon investigated a road washout.

· He replaced incoming gate and built new gate arms.

· He had 3 bidders come up to give quotes for prospective road repairs.  Jon reviewed the 2 estimates which were received. 

· Moved and seconded to have Gardners make most immediate road repairs at Meadow/Bullpine for $920.00, and at Bullfrog/Skyline for $10,953.35. Motion carried. 

· Jon repaired fence posts.

· He did roadside trash pickup on Meadow Drive.

· He removed downed trees from the recent wind storm. 

New Business –

· Homeowner plans from Dowain Gessey for a porch/entry were approved as presented. 

· Homeowner plans from J.R. Wallworth for a brow extension on his cabin were approved as presented.

· Homeowner Clint Watson brought an issue of right-of-way to the Board.  The Board will research the issue, pull past documentation regarding a variance issued on this issue, and seek legal counsel. 

· Brent reported that the water test results came back at 7.7 parts per billion.  Maximum contaminate level is 10 parts per billion.  

· ANNUAL MEETING will be held on Friday, June 1, 2012, 7:00 p.m. at the Senior Center.  Subdivision cleanup day will be Saturday, June 2. 

There will be no Board meeting in June.  The next Board meeting will be Saturday, July 7, 2012, 8:30 a.m. at the Jeffes’ cabin.
