Duquette Pines Homeowners Association Board Meeting

Jeffes’ Residence 8:30 a.m.

October 13, 2012

 

Attendees:  Brent Adamson, Dee Woodstrom, Lynn Murdoch, Wendy Jeffes, Jon Long, Michelle Savoie Garcia

 

Minutes:  

·       September minutes were approved as presented.

 

Financials: 

·       Michelle reported on financials for the month and checks were signed. 

·       She released two liens when homeowners sent payments.

·       Moved Murdoch, seconded Jeffes to take all past due accounts with a balance of $100 or more who are not making regular payments to small claims court.  Discussion regarding one property in Boise County’s name ensued.  Motion was amended by Murdoch to exclude Boise County for further research.  Seconded Jeffes.  Motion carried. 

·       Michelle will start the process for small claims court, which is scheduled for December 5, 2012. 

·       A newsletter will go out with the quarterly billing, including articles on small claims court, being fire wise, snow plowing, etc. 

 

Old Business:

·       Moved and seconded to appoint Board positions for the year as follows:  Brent Adamson as President, Art Burget as Vice President, Wendy Jeffes as Secretary.  Motion carried.

·       The road maintenance contract was discussed regarding additions requested from Gardners and the DPHOA Board.  The board will review proposed changes and approve a new contract by the November meeting. 

 

New Business:

·       A letter will be sent regarding a CCR violation of a farm animal in the subdivision. 

·       Building plans for a roof extension were reviewed.  Moved Woodstrom, seconded Jeffes to approve plans from Amy Davis as submitted.  Motion carried.  An approval letter will be sent to the homeowner.

 

Manager’s Report:

·       Jon repaired a broken gate several times throughout September.

·       He removed roadside brush.

·       He cleaned up glass and trash from a roadside accident near the gate.

·       He reported that one old car, which had been sitting idle for many years in the subdivision, has been removed.

·       The homeowner water leak problem was discussed.  A letter will be sent that the water will be shut off immediately. 

 

 

The meeting adjourned at 10:15 a.m.  The next board meeting will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2012, 8:30 a.m. at the Jeffes’ residence.
