Duquette Pines Homeowners Association Board Meeting

Jeffes’ Residence, 8:30 a.m.

April 6, 2013

 

 

Attendees:  Brent Adamson, Art Burget, Dee Woodstrom, Lynn Murdoch, Wendy Jeffes, Jon Long, Michelle Savoie Garcia; Homeowners:  Scott Woodstrom, George Jeffes

 

Minutes:

·       Minutes were approved from March 2013 as presented.

 

Financials:

·       Michelle reported on the financials for the month and presented checks to be signed.

·       She reported on the information she discovered about filing a levy against a homeowner who owes the Association a large outstanding balance.  Art will pursue legal advice regarding the issue.

 

Property Manager’s Report:

·       Jon filled holes on Skyline. 

·       Established property line for a homeowner.

·       Removed most of snow stakes from the Subdivision.

·       Jon started to burn needles/slash that was built up from last year.

·       Jon is cleaning up the existing material from the Subdivision’s burn pile.   This area will be closed to homeowners following his clean-up.  Please remember that the County Dump will take this material for free. 

·       The road build-up work that needs to be completed on Skyline will be put out for bid. 

 

Old Business:

·       The Annual Meeting will be held on Friday, May 24 at 7:00 p.m.  The meeting will be held at the Community Hall (please note this is a change from last month’s minutes).

·       Items to be discussed include elections (2 board positions open), collections/financials, fire suppression, annual clean-up.

 

New Business:

·       Moved Burget and seconded Murdoch to approve a variance for Mr. and Mrs. Nelson, (Lot 2, Block 5) for construction into the Subdivision cul-de-sac on Balsam Circle and North crossing the property line, to adhere to the easement that’s been filed and approved by the County between Lots 1 and 2.   Motion carried.  A letter will be sent to advise the homeowner. 

 

 

The next meeting will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at 8:30 a.m. at the Jeffes’ cabin.
