BOARD MEETING
Boise Basin Library, Idaho City
December 7th, 2013

Attendees:  Brent Adamson, Lynn Murdoch, Scott Jackson, Dee Woodstrom, Art Burget, Jon Long and Michelle Savoie-Garcia.

Financials - Michelle Savoie-Garcia 

·      Presented the current checking account information and the Profit & Loss Comparison for 2013 vs 2014.

·      Filed liens on Dec. 4th. 

·      Received a letter from a homeowner about being liened. 

·      Stubblefield’s property (Allan’s Corner) is going up for auction.  We need to contact our lawyer to see if we can re-coop our fees.

·      Checks were presented for signatures.


Manager's Report - Jon Long

·      Ran the emergency generator.

·      Worked on the front gate (underground loops)

·      Turned subdivision water off for maintenance of the Zaspel’s water shutoff.

·      Installed culvert – cut phone line (repaired next day).

·      Manually filled potholes on side roads.

·      Repaired the front gate - twice.

·      Replaced the light cover at front gate.

·      Replaced a water shutoff valve.

·      Fixed a leaking pipe on Skyline Drive.

·      Was notified of a leak at 35 Bull Pine – will repair in the spring.

·      Roads were graded on November 25th. 

·      Talked to Russ Taylor who lives on the end of Lantern Way about traffic and constructing a gate at the end of his property.  

·      Still not much information on security cameras for the front gate. Brent Adamson MOTIONED for Jon to gather information on a system and report back to the Board.  Lynn Murdoch SECONDED.  All ayes, motion passed.


Old Business-

·      Brent attended a class for water treatment/reporting to Department of Environmental Quality. 

·      Discussed purchasing a particular lot for tapping into an existing well for community water. Brent will pursue the well feasibility and will talk to CDH about the particulars on the well. 

·      Linda Nelson and Celeste and Stephanie House, owners of the 40 acre parcel behind Bailey’s, is for sale.  This parcel is not a regular outparcel.  The Board reviewed the agreement, which is a binding contract, between Loyal Willis, Charles Reinhart and the property owners Charles and LaVerne House.  The agreement states that DPHOA has first rights to purchase the property.  The agreement further states that DP is to give access only with road fees assessed.  June 1970 was the original date of the agreement and it was signed April 1971.

·      Staneart contruction of a carport structure on their property – a letter will be sent to the homeowner by Michelle.  It concerns a carport type structure constructed on their property without submitting plans to DPHOA.
