BOARD MEETING
Boise Basin Library, Idaho City
June 21st, 2014
Attendees: Brent Adamson, Lynn Murdoch, Dee Woodstrom, Scott Jackson and Jon Long. Property owners, Mr. Ebling
and Mr. Manzo, were in attendance.

Manager's Report - Jon Long
·
Ran the backup generator.
·
Built gate area on Lantern Way.
·
Replaced/fixed broken traffic signs.
·
Adjusted the front gate.
·
Dug up and replaced a valve from a water leak on Bull Pine.
·
Mowed generator shed area.
·
Cut down trees in subdivision.
·
Applied dust abatement.
·
Sprayed for noxious weeds.
·
Mowed front gate area.
·
Cleaned out the generator shed.
·
Checked water run times.
·
Put a t-post on Deer Drive for a road issue.
New Business-
·
Lantern Way gate
discussion – two property owners, in attendance, stated they are concerned that
the gates will be locked. The Board
assured them that if it gets to that point, they will get a key or
combination.
There was
discussion of the width of small gate.
Jon Long assured that the opening is wide enough to accommodate most atv’s and utv’s.

Willis Way – Mr. Ebling spoke about the garbage on the road, on the property
and in the houses at the end of the cul-de-sac and asked the Board what could
be done about this.

Discussion on Duquette
Pines boundaries and encroachment of campers, miner’s, etc.
·
Elections – Diane
Cowles is the only nominee at this time.
The ballots will need to be returned by the 25th of July. Art had previously talked about online
voting. Options were discussed: we could
send the ballot through email if we have a group email put in place or enclose
a stamp for property owner to return a paper ballot. The newsletter needs to go out in August or September
with the new board member announced. The
Board will get an email address specifically for voting.

Fence building plan
was submitted from Jon Long. Lynn Murdoch
motioned to approve the plan, Scott Jackson seconded. All ayes, motion passed.

Discussion on the
lemonade stand at the front gate and their safety. They will be asked to move their stand from
the front gate over to the side where the snowplow turnaround is.
Old Business-
·
Subjects from the
annual meeting were discussed.
·
Discussion on the atv/utv/dirt bike/vehicle usage
on the trail by Bailey’s that goes out onto private property. Jon Long stated he would like to put the
chain back up, between the current posts, where it was years ago.
·
Mailboxes – Lynn
gave an update. She spoke with the
postmaster. We may need to do a box for
each lot, in the mailbox cluster, as they go by street address. Lynn will check on this further and get costs.
