Duquette Pines Home Owners Association

Monthly Meeting –July 15, 2016

Minutes

Attending:   Roy and Polly Doan, Scott Jackson, Diane Cowles, Lisa Kindelberger, Jim White, Mark Veristain, Dave and Lisa Burt, Dee and Scott Woodstrom, Sal and Jill Manzo, Clint and Cindy Watson, Donna Bates.

The meeting was called to order by Vice President Roy Doan at 7:00pm at the home of Roy Doan.

Ø  Votes were opened and counted, double checked; and the number of ballots, versus total votes were also counted and were correct.  The new Board members are: Dee Woodstrom, Lisa Burt and Russ Taylor.  The alternates are to be reviewed and contacted.

Ø  Financials were reviewed and accepted.

Ø  New architectural reviews.  Lisa Kindelberger brought a request for a new backyard fence.  She also brought drawings, dimensions and material to be used.  Roy made a motion to approve and Scott seconded.

Ø  Clint's report:  gates were broken and repaired again; monitor of wells and generator as well as weed abatement was completed;  Road work was $1,950.00 over budget, which we expected.  Much of his time has been in assisting in road work and bidding of electrical and pump upgrades.  Bids were presented and accepted by the Board.

Ø  Signature cards will need to be signed for Idaho Central Credit Union for new Board Members: Dee Woodstrom, Lisa Burt and Russ Taylor.  All board members will be designated to sign checks for the subdivision.

Ø  Old Business. We need to get Clint a credit card for items needed at places where we do not have accounts set up.  Especially for emergencies.  Use of credit card for large amounts should be approved by at least two members, preferably in writing (email) or documented phone or personal contact.  We talked about a separate card that cannot access the whole DPHOA account.  Receipts will then be given to Lisa K. for reconciliation.  Use should also be documented in manager’s report.

Ø  A question on the ballot regarding Idaho City Police patrols in Duquette Pines  were counted as: Daily Patrols-39 votes against, 14 votes were for it and 5 votes were for fewer patrols.  The No’s have it.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:50pm.  Next meeting for new Board will be Aug. 1, 2016 at 6pm.  Basin Library.
